Say goodbye to the sun

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Clouds are starting to build across New Zealand this afternoon as slow moving fronts inch towards the country.

As exclusively predicted by WeatherWatch.co.nz this morning Auckland is mostly cloudy today.  Cloudy weather is also moving across Northland, Waikato, Taranaki and much of the South Island.

Sunnier conditions remain around Christchurch although clouds are in the area.

WeatherWatch.co.nz says that the cloudier conditions are expected to increase tomorrow and across the weekend.

Sunnier weather isn’t likely to return to New Zealand return until later on Sunday or even early next week.

A weakening of high air pressure over the country has allowed some frontal cloud to move in to southern, western and northern regions.
