Finally a mainly settled day for most of the country thanks to high pressure, there is a little cloud about for some though with a light shower or two about but it’s otherwise not too bad.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of PlentyA mix of sun and cloud, Bay Of Plenty will be sunny all day. Cloud thickens in the evening for Auckland and Northland bringing the risk of a shower. Gentle southwesterlies.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Cloud thickens in the morning, chance of a shower from afternoon, clearing evening. Light winds.
Highs: 7 – 14


Eastern North Island
A mix of sun and cloud, southwesterlies develop in the morning, easing evening.
Highs: 12 – 14


Wellington
Partly cloudy, light northerlies.
Highs: 11 – 12


Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud, light winds tend onshore.
Highs: 11 – 13


Canterbury
Mostly sunny with a touch of high cloud, light north to northeasterly winds.

West Coast
Mostly sunny with a few clouds for North Westland, further south skies are cloudier with showers for Fiordland. Light winds.
