A strengthening ridge of high pressure over the Tasman Sea will bring another day of dry weather to the country.

 

Upper North Island

A mix of sun and clouds with light winds tending southeast.  Highs 22-26

 

Lower North Island

A somewhat cloudy start with increasingly sunny skies.  Highs 20-24

 

Upper South Island

Mainly sunny skies with light southerly breezes.  Highs 18-23

 

Lower South Island

Mainly sunny skies except along the coasts where a mix of sun and clouds is expected.  Light southerly breezes.  Highs 18-23

What’s the wind in lower North Island (you probably meant south to southeasterlies?). And the highs 20-24 -Wellington and Wanganui are going for 19?

You’ve got showers and highs of 18-19 in Gisborne and (possibly) Napier, but not in the above forecast.
