Strong high pressure centred well east of the country will continue to keep the weather settled for today.

 

Upper North Island

Mainly sunny skies with easterly breezes.  A few clouds will be mixed in as well, especially along the coasts and about Northland.  Also, a rogue shower can’t be ruled for Northland.

Highs:  25-28

 

Lower North Island

Mostly sunny with light northeasterlies.  A few clouds will bubble up in the afternoon.

Highs:  22-26 in most areas except for Hawke’s Bay and Wairarapa where highs should range from 28-31.

 

Upper South Island

Mostly sunny skies with a few clouds and light winds.

Highs from 22-26 except along the eastern coastal sections where highs will range from 26-30.

 

Lower South Island

Mostly sunny skies with a few clouds and light winds.

Highs from 25-29
