Upper North Island

Sunshine with mix with a few clouds today.  A few showers will be scattered about, mainly from late afternoon.  High 25-27

Lower North Island 

Mainly cloudy skies with a few peeks of sunshine early.  Turning mainly sunny this afternooin with a risk for showers.  A few thunderstorms are also possible in the central and east.  Some storms could produce heavy rain.  A few showers are expected.  Highs 26-28

Upper South Island

Cloudy with light showers possible this morning.  A mix of sun and clouds this afternoon.  Highs: 22-25

Lower South Island

Mainly sunny skies with a few clouds.  Highs along the coast in the teens to around 20.  Highs inland:  22-25.
