Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud with the chance of shower or two during the day, the Bay Of Plenty has a mostly sunny day. Light westerly winds.
Highs: 13-15

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly cloudy with a light shower or two, many dry spells also. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 10-14

Eastern North Island
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 13-14

Wellington
Mostly sunny with light northwesterly winds.
High: 12

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny, light winds.
Highs: 11-13

Canterbury
Mainly sunny, may be a touch of high cloud. Light winds, tending east to northeasterly near the coast.
Highs: 8-10

West Coast
Mostly cloudy skies, there may be some sun for parts of North Westland in the afternoon. A light shower or two affects Buller at times, clearing there in the evening. Some rain develops about Fiordland by midday, gradually spreading northwards into South Westland by evening then pushing northwards overnight. Light winds.
Highs: 9-12

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 8-11
