Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny with light southwesterly winds, there may be some morning cloud mainly in the west. Risk of an isolated shower late afternoon / evening about eastern Bay Of Plenty and East Cape otherwise mainly dry.
Highs: 24-25

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any morning cloud clears then mostly sunny with afternoon westerly winds.
Highs: 21-24

Eastern North Island
Sunny with afternoon east to northeast breezes.
Highs: 23-26

Wellington
Mostly sunny with light northerly winds.
High: 22

Marlborough & Nelson
Any early cloud clears then sunny with light winds tending east to northeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 22-24

Canterbury
Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, east to northeast winds freshen in the afternoon.
Highs: 20-22

West Coast
Areas of cloud and some sun at times, a shower or two possible now and then also otherwise mainly dry. Westerly winds.
Highs: 19-23

Southland & Otago
Sunny spells with cloud thickening in the evening about Southland, overnight spots of rain. Otago sees mostly sunny weather, high cloud increases later in the evening. Northwesterly winds for most although tending northeast about coastal Otago.
Highs: 20-24
