Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Patchy rain – a chance of an isolated heavy fall. Areas of drizzle at times too and long dry spells. Breezy humid east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 24-25

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Cloudy with some patchy rain or drizzle, dry spells too. East to southeasterly winds tend northeast in the evening.
Highs: 22-25

Eastern North Island
Patchy rain with east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 23-25

Wellington
Cloudy with some patchy rain at times from mid afternoon, light Easterly quarter winds.
High: 23

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly cloudy, some patchy rain possible then easing from afternoon. Light easterly quarter winds.
Highs: 22-23

Canterbury
Mostly cloudy, light winds in the morning (possibly tending southerly) then afternoon easterlies. A chance of evening drizzle especially inland. Some parts of South Canterbury may have a mainly sunny day.
Highs: 22-24

West Coast
Mostly sunny, some high cloud possible. Morning cloud about Fiordland breaks to sunny spells. Light winds.
Highs: 23-27

Southland & Otago
Morning cloud then increasing sunny spells, low risk of an isolated shower for inland areas in the evening. Easterly quarter winds, a little fresh in the afternoon about coastal Otago.
Highs: 20-26
