A ridge of high pressure brings mainly settled and sunny weather to most of New Zealand again today. Just some cloud about the far north especially in the east with the chance of a shower.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mainly sunny weather with light winds after a cold start especially inland areas. Some cloud pushes onto Coromandel, Great Barrier Island and Northland especially in the east in an easterly airflow bringing the chance of a light shower or two, more so afternoon onwards.
Highs: 15-16

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Sunny with light winds. Some cloud possible in the morning mainly about coastal Taranaki.
Highs: 12-15

Eastern North Island

Mainly sunny with light winds, perhaps tending easterly in the afternoon.
Highs: 15-16

Wellington

Sunny with light winds, perhaps tending northerly.
High: 15

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with light winds.
High: 14

Canterbury

Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 13-14

West Coast

Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 12-13

Southland & Otago

Morning cloud breaks to sunny areas about Southland and coastal Otago, westerly breezes. Mainly sunny inland.
Highs: 10-12
