A sunny and settled day across most of the country today under a ridge of high pressure, light winds. Some cloud about Southland, eastern parts of the North Island and Northland bring the chance of a shower or two, especially Northland this morning.

Sunny with light southeaterlies.

Sunny spells about the Wairarapa with light south to southeasterly winds.

evening.
