Saturday Weather

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Yesterday brought southerlies to the nation, today brings northerlies and westerlies.

Today the South Island can expect a warmer day with nor’west winds developing.

The west coast of the South Island should see the nor’wester bringing showers and rain during the day.

The east of the North Island will also see nor’wests developing.

Meanwhile the rest of the North Island will see westerlies with fine spells.  There may be the odd shower from Hamilton north.
