It’s more like a Spring weather pattern covering New Zealand this weekend with strong westerly quarter winds affecting our part of the world.
Conditions are expected to be mild to warm in many northern and eastern areas while the west and far south of the South Island, blustery westerlies are likely to keep temperatures down a little.
Overhead conditions should be quite bright today with a majority of rain or showers clearing to reveal mostly sunny skies with a few cloudy areas but often breezy.
