Since I can’t comment on your daily debrief at the moment, I’m going to post it here.

At the Mount we’ve had rain. Solid on and off all day, wouldn’t call that some showers. If you look at the MetService’s rain radar, you can see what’s been happening.

At the moment (16:42) it’s hosing down again here.

A very thin band of rain/showers moving in to Tauranga and Mt Maunganui.  Very narrow area but covering a very populated place!

One reader, Gael, has reported 50mm and non-stop rain!

He’s right! I think at one stage there was minor flooding downtown the Mount, according to the photo my better half sent me.
