Conditions in the Bay of Plenty regarding the salvage operation of Rena this week are generally quite settled.
Winds aren’t expected to be overly strong this week with peak wind gusts not expected to exceed more than a moderate to fresh breeze.
Overhead conditions are mostly dry intially however some shower activity is possible later on Thursday and a greater chance on Friday.
Swells are likely to be minimal with no significant swell anticipated as the winds swing from northwest and sou’ east later this week.
