RainWatch – The odd shower in the west and south today

Mainly dry conditions for eastern New Zealand today, expect a shower or two about Buller and the western North Island then clearing in the evening. Showers for Southland and the Catlins ease during the day, clearing evening also.

Mainly dry on Thursday across the country, just one or two showers about the place. For the North Island this will likely be for Kapiti and Bay Of Plenty. In the South Island, a shower or two for South Westland turns to rain overnight. A few showers spread northwards overnight.

Expect rain for the West Coast of the South Island on Friday, perhaps a few heavy falls, dry in the east. The North Island is mainly dry however expect a shower or two for Taranaki down through to Kapiti in a northwesterly airflow.
