RainWatch – Rain in the west then moving into the east late Wed / Thu

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A northwesterly airflow brings rain to western parts of the country on Tuesday, many North Island regions stay fairly dry though.

During Wednesday not much changes for a majority of the country however from afternoon a cold front moves into the lower South Island bringing rain to Southland / Otago, this moves into Canterbury overnight. Overnight or perhaps more towards dawn on Thursday this front brings rain to the western North Island also.

Expect some snow about the South Island ski fields with this front too.
