RainWatch – Front brings rain to the West Coast

A front curling into a low pressure system in the Tasman Sea brings rain to the West Coast of the South Island today, especially South Westland. Mainly dry elsewhere apart from Northland where there is a few light showers at times, especially in the east.

This weekend sees an area of low pressure in the Tasman Sea directing some rain / showers or drizzle at times into western parts of the country, mainly dry in the east.
