RainWatch – Finally some dry weather on Friday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Friday is quite dry for most of New Zealand, just the odd clearing coastal shower for the eastern North Island then overnight a northwesterly airflow builds for the South Island bringing rain in the west.

Rain continues to persist for the West Coast of the South Island on Saturday, mainly dry elsewhere although increasing cloud for the North Island may deliver a light shower or two here and there.

Northland and Auckland rain lovers do not fear, from Sunday and into next week there is some reasonable rain activity to bring H2O to these regions which will be a welcome sight for depleted dams.
