A few light showers are found about central New Zealand today.

As Anzac Day wears on, there will be a few random showers popping up around the country.  The best chance for showers, however, will remain across the central part of the country.  Coastal areas of the west and south also run a slightly better chance for seeing showers.

Tomorrow a new disturbance will push on to the South Island, enhancing the rain chances for the western regions.  Some heavy falls are possible along the lower West Coast during the evening hours.

Rain chances will diminish as we head into the weekend.  The western sections of both islands could see rain on Saturday.  By Sunday, only the western Mainland is expect to see any rain.
