We have a few showers around this weekend and a bit of patchy rain, otherwise most places are generally drier than normal for this time of the year and much warmer too, for most anyway.
This weekend sees fairly low rainfall accumulation, although an isolated heavy shower inland for the upper North Island may very locally have higher totals.
With the exception of Hawke’s Bay today, most places are average or much warmer than average for early October.
On Wednesday a cool down comes for some with a southerly bringing heavy rain to the south western corner of NZ. Another cool down is likely one week from now.
