The state owned forecaster has again issued rain warnings for Friday and Saturday ahead of Tropical Cyclone Wilma.
WeatherWatch.co.nz says Wilma is different from last weekend’s low and the bulk of the rain will fall out to sea, east of the North Island.
However the low will track close enough to bring strong winds and heavy rain, starting in Northland tomorrow and spreading south towards Auckland in the later afternoon or evening.
Full warnings below…
Rain will be heaviest on Saturday morning but because the system is very fast moving, unlike last weekend’s low, flooding risks will hopefully be lower.

So hard to believe when looking out the window just now! It is absolutely glorious, not a cloud in the sky and not a breath of wind!
Hope this one doesn’t wreck the veggie garden!
