Rain, sun and a cyclone – Wednesday’s Weather Video

Rain, heavy at times will affect the western side of both islands over the next couple of days but should improve before the weekend.

Meanwhile tropical cyclone Winston to our north-east has strengthened overnight and is again a category three severe storm.

Hi Anthony, Thanks for your feedback – glad you love the videos!  We are very limited timewise, as most viewers don’t want extra long videos unless we have a huge amount to talk about. Most of our videos are roughly around 3 minutes – we don’t time them, but we do try and keep them moving along.  At the moment we record 3 videos a week with the NZ Herald (Mon, Weds, Fri) and on Tues and Thurs we use CountryTV studios and we cap our time on that as they are a subscriber channel (so if you want the full 10 minute long weather videos each night you can sign up to CountryTV on Sky Channel 081).
