Poll Results: NZers ‘exhausted’ by the current weather pattern

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The end of the year is often a time when we feel burnt out, but the surge in spring weather this month has certainly been draining for many Kiwis, with earthquakes on top it’s made for a particularly exhausting November thanks to Mother Nature.

We asked this week in the WeatherWatch.co.nz Weekly Poll if the weather lately has been exhausting for you.

A clear majority at 61% said “Yes, it’s been tiring and relentless”.

Nearly one quarter, at 24%, said overall it’s been ok but that “lately” the weather had been a “little bit” exhausting.

Just 15% responded “No, the weather has been great where I am”.

WeatherWatch.co.nz says the weather moving across New Zealand over this Sunday and Monday will be windy, cold for some and wet for others – and may well be considered “exhausting” too.

December sees a similar pattern to November but with – and you’ll be pleased to hear this – an increase in more settled days.

Our next poll is out tomorrow, Sunday!
