POLL RESULTS: Most New Zealanders still unaffected by wild weather

> From the WeatherWatch archives

2015 has already seen its fair share of extreme weather – we’ve had droughts, snow, floods, gale force winds, thunderstorms and huge swells – but it seems like most of us have been the lucky ones to miss out!

We wanted to know in this week’s poll how many of our readers had been hit or affected by the severe weather this year – and it seems as though most kiwis have dodged the weather bullet, so to speak.

Just 42% of those who responded said they’d seen the severe weather at their place, while the majority – 58% – either haven’t seen any really rough weather or simply have a different definition of what constitutes “severe” weather. Maybe kiwis are just a tough breed!

Keep an eye out tomorrow morning for our new poll
