POLL RESULTS: Most Kiwis prefer dry heat

> From the WeatherWatch archives

So far we’ve had a hot, dry start to 2015 – and according to our latest poll, that seems to fit in with what most New Zealanders want.

As we mentioned in our latest poll, the country’s location on the globe means that no two seasons are exactly alike, and they all have a slightly different ‘feel’ – even from one year to the next.

So we wanted to know what our readers preferred – the dry, hot weather we’ve had in January, or more humid, wetter weather – and the results were loud and clear.

67% of voters said they enjoyed the dry heat, compared to just 7% saying the preferred more humid conditions – while the remaining 26% miss winter, and probably winter rain.

Remember to check out our next poll, coming tomorrow morning!
