We may not like a wet winter, but we also don’t like an extra hot summer – for sleeping anyway. Our latest poll results show nearly half, at 47%, prefer average temperatures for sleeping – not too cold and not too warm. However another huge group also voted with 41% saying “cold nights are my preference” for sleeping.
Just 10% like it warmer, a number that even we found low considering so many New Zealanders love to take holidays in Queensland and the South Pacific tropical islands. We’re guessing air conditioning in your room must be a big factor in where you stay!
Only 2% said they have no preference – these lucky people can sleep when it’s hot and humid or cold and frosty.
