Last week’s poll question may have caused some head scratches for some – but we were responding to some comments thrown at us on our social media platforms.

One of our followers in particular was curious about the start of winter – which is still more than 4 months away – and saying they couldn’t wait for it to get here – which had us all a little confused!

Still, we wanted to know how prevalent this opinion was – and we were a little surprised by the results – with nearly 40% of those who voted saying yes – they wish winter was here already.

This summer has been a mixed bag so far – with hot, dry conditions in parts of the country ruthless on farmers – it’s perhaps more understandable given our rural following.
