Poll Results: Half of us aren’t getting outside as much this winter

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The results of WeatherWatch.co.nz’s weekly poll this week shows almost half of New Zealanders who voted aren’t getting outside as much, with all the rough weather lately.

47% said they weren’t spending as much time outdoors this winter.

16% said they have spent more time outside.

The next week ahead sees more showers and rain but also a number of dry spells and sunny periods. So hopefully, even though the school holidays are over, we may be able to get out a bit more.

The days are also getting a little longer and brighter…not by much, but it’s noticeable now if you look for it.
