It seems when it comes to whether or not you’re hot or cold at the moment many Kiwis are opting to let Mother Nature control the temperature in their home.
Our latest poll asked whether or not New Zealanders are heating or cooling their homes now that April has arrived and with it the changeable weather.
But 52% said they aren’t heating or cooling their homes right now – they’re letting nature do all the work.
When it comes to if you’ve been heating more or cooling more since the start of April the other half of voters are much more varied – a bit like the weather pattern since April.
16% are finding it a bit cool and are mainly heating their homes, while 20% are finding it a bit warm and are cooling their homes with fans or air conditioning.
Then there’s the 12% who are clearly being affected by a mixture of Autumn temperatures – these people are having to both heat and cool their homes to keep a more regular temperature.
