Poll Results: A warm response to frosts

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The results of our latest poll suggest New Zealanders aren’t the biggest fans of the warmer than average weather we’ve been seeing over the past few winters.

62% of those who responded to our frost poll say they “love frosty weather”. Many people have told us over the past few years they feel like they’ve had fewer frosts, which they’ve found disappointing.

38% say “No thanks” to frosts.

After the Antarctic blast the colder air flow will settle tonight as a high comes in. Frosts are likely in both islands tonight, check your local forecast to see if your overnight lows are dipping below 3 with calm, clear, conditions.
