With daylight savings just weeks old, we’re already getting reports from some people getting a wee bit too much exposure to our big yellow friend in the sky.
Sunburn is no laughing matter, and it’s something we all need to be aware of – even in October – when the sun’s rays are still plenty strong enough to cause some serious damage during peak times, that’s 11-3pm.
Weatherwatch.co.nz advises everyone out there to take precautions heading into summer, avoid getting burnt and most of all, enjoy yourself!
Let us know in the poll whether you’ve seen a bit too much sun already, or you would have, if given the chance!
