Yesterday saw a number of regions receive some solid rainfall while others, particularly those most desperate for rain, saw very little at all.
We know the rainfall figures at the airports – but we’re keen to hear from you. Did yesterday’s rain bring your farm, your garden, your water tanks, any relief at all?

0.8mm for us in Coatesville. We need rain not just for the paddocks but also for the water tanks. Badly.

We received 12mm in Kawerau, B.O.P., which is also the total for the month to date. Usual March rainfall can be anything from 60 to 200mm.

We received the disappointing grand total of 0.2mm rain during that brief thundery outburst!
Other places closer to the Port Hills received from 3 – 5mm, with Sumner just under 5mm, the further west you went you got little or missed out, it seems!
Anycase we got plenty of water here for the garden! 8 – D
