Photos of the day (7) – Zelda Wynn’s creative clouds

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Friend of WeatherWatch.co.nz, Zelda Wynn, has taken several fantastic cloud photos which she has uploaded to our site this evening.

As always, they’re fantastic – Zelda really knows how to turn a boring cloudy sky into something exciting to view.

And for others who love snapping photos of clouds – note that in most of Zelda’s photos there is one of two things: 1) Some object other than a cloud (bird, plane, powerlines, moon etc) or, 2) Strong contrast in shades of grey, or colours, within the clouds.

This is a great tip for people taking photos of sunsets too – manmade objects can look especially interesting when you see the contrast between the beauty of nature and something striking made by humans.
