PHOTOS (4): Partial lunar eclipse over NZ

> From the WeatherWatch archives

On Saturday New Zealanders with clear skies witnessed a lunar eclipse – when the earth got in the way of the sun’s light hitting the moon.

WeatherWatch.co.nz has received a couple of photos from our readers.

Did you take a photo of it?  If so, upload it and share it with other WeatherWatch.co.nz readers – click here to easily upload.

This photo was on a longer exposure so you can see the other side of the moon a little clearer, the clouds were a bit of a factor in this shot though.  Uploaded by: Kat Cooper
