Check out this incredible photo sent in by WeatherWatch.co.nz reader Claude Therond. With the skies crystal clear over Auckland, thanks to the cold southerly change, it created the perfect conditions for an upclose photo of the moon.
Claude says it was taken in Beachlands at 11:40pm Tuesday night. “Was about zero degrees and not a cloud in the sky”.

What an incredible photo, it’s so clear you could probably prove the Moon Landings with it! Bit too chilly for me though…
