A large high and a slight shift to warmer nor’easters over Auckland overnight lead to thick low level fog around Waitemata Harbour this morning.  The fog looked stunning from the CBD but caused headaches for motorists, particularly around Waterview on Auckland’s North-Western motorway – with a number of traffic incidents causing heavy traffic well after 9am.
