Not much to see here – Weather risks on Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Just like yesterday, Today is looking fairly calm across most of the country – with virtually no weather risks to speak of in either island!

A ridge is pushing over the country during the day, which means our weather will stay very settled – only Northland, Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty could be in for a shower in the afternoon – though any shower activity will be scattered and isolated.

With the still, calm air overnight, mornings and evenings are starting to cool down pretty dramatically – the overnight lows in some places may be approaching frost levels – though at the moment it’s looking restricted to inland areas.

If there’s a frost where you live, please send us a photo and tell us where you’re from – we’d love to see it!
