Not all of NZ is seeing a settled Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

If you’re in Northland and you were hoping for some dry weather, today’s weather is probably not to your liking.  Clouds and showers have been moving across the upper tip of the North Island today.

A few persistent light showers were also found about the upper and eastern South Island today as well.

On the other end of the spectrum, there some areas that are very sunny.  Gisborne, Nelson, Greymouth and Taupo just to name a few.

In between, we see a mix of sun and clouds for most parts of the country.  But aside from parts of the upper regions of both islands, there is no precipitation falling.

Temperatures last hour ranged from 10 at Kaikoura to 19 at Te Puke and Auckland.

Other city centre temperatures as of 1:00pm included 12 at Christchurch, 13 at Wellington, 14 at Dunedin and 18 at Hamilton.
