No video today – but here’s what Phil would’ve said…

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We have no weather video today as we’re making upgrades to our studio, equipment and camera. It’s one of those things where you make small change here and it affects something else down the line! The positive is that we’re working on improving the quality of our videos and looking to expand the content we make, but it means today (and maybe Thursday) we don’t have a video.

However, let me just point out this week has to be one of the quietest weather weeks of 2018, as I so maturely pointed out on Twitter the other day.

So the timing for having no videos is probably quite good. So, what was I going to say in today’s Labour Weekend focused weather video? Not much actually. Daytime temperatures look around normal to above normal (not colder than normal anywhere). The overnight looks *might* still be a bit colder than normal, especially inland areas.

Winds look light for most regions.

Most places look dry but there are some downpour or shower risks for the upper North Island and lower South Island around Sunday.

Labour Day Monday looks settled in most places.

Thanks for your patience as we continue to upgrade our public services.
