Some of us are morning people, others prefer the later part of the day and when it comes to sunrise or sunset many of us have a preference too.

Both may produce similar beauty but both also have quite different feels to them with one marking the dawn of a new day and the other reminding most of us that the working day is done.

With the multiple layers of cloud around the country this past week we’ve seen some spectacular sunrise and sunset photos sent in to our Twitter and Facebook pages too.
