2016 will go down as a hot year – with the first several months of the year all warmer than average. We had a few ex-cyclones threaten us, we had a wintry blast or two, but we also saw the ongoing drought in Canterbury be extended across this year.

Rain has fallen in Canterbury and given pockets of relief over the past six months – but now we’re seeing other areas dry out, especially Hawke’s Bay and some northern regions.

Overall though, how have your found the weather this year? Has it been a good year of weather for you, or has Mother Nature treated you a bit harshly?
