With winter upon us already, instances of seasonal influenza naturally rise – especially when we see the temperature drop heading out of autumn, as we have this year.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the flu vaccine is the best way to protect people against the flu and prevent its spread, and it takes about two weeks following vaccination for antibodies to protect against the flu.
We wanted to know how many of our readers were vaccinated already, or how many intend to in the coming weeks – given that the uptake is only around 60 – 65% among adults around the western world.
