It’s that time of year with long colder nights, more dampness and more of us crammed into rooms with other people – it’s a long way from the warmth and frequent outdoor life from 10 weeks ago back in summer.
With schools and universities in full swing, with people spending more time in the office and less time on holiday and the ups and downs in temperatures it’s normal to start getting coughs, cold and flu.
The cold and flue season usually starts in March as people start heading back to school and work and the mornings become colder, but it’s really in mid to late Autumn (now) that we find coughs and colds becoming more of a serious issue with winter just around the corner.
