As most of you know WeatherWatch.co.nz may be a small company but we dedicate a great amount of time to gauging the pulse of New Zealanders on most days/weeks to see how they feel about the weather. Over the past two weeks we’ve had a noticeable uptick in one particular area – the wind.
In particular North Islanders seem to be noticing the windy pattern – which is very normal for spring.
In fact quite often it’s the month of November that sees the windiest weather starting to fade and more lazy summer days of weather drifting in.
In our view this spring has not been very stormy – but the weather has been repetitive for many regions.
So with that in mind – how annoying has that spring wind been this season?

On our patch in Whangarei the spring winds can be annoying, this year is no exception and I will be happy to see them gone. We are exposed to the Westerlies and they can make the days a bit miserable with their constant hard blow and cooling effects.
