The forecast across New Zealand in the coming week is a changeable one with hints of Autumn for some regions but still hot and even into the 30s for others.
Forecasts can only tell us so much as each region has its own local climate and sometimes a human being on the ground gives a better clue as to how a season is going/feeling and perhaps if it is just kicking in, peaking, or fading.
With the past 10 days seeing both a tropical cyclone and snow on the southern mountains we’re curious – does it feel like summer has already peaked at your place, or is it still feeling hot and summer-like overall?

Last couple of days sure feels like Autumn to me and my trees are browning off as well, just as well Autumn is my favorite time of the year

A strange mix of weather, sometimes feeling Autumn like. Spring shows in places as confused plants bloom.
Auckland, home of daily seasonal changes and beautiful cloudscapes.
