We’ve reached that time of the year where the long nights combined with clear skies helps creates frosty weather.
So far this Autumn has been very wet and fairly mild across most parts of New Zealand with frosty mornings fairly scarce.
With a large high rolling in and calm weather right now there may be a few frosts about – although once again things aren’t as cold as they could be for mid-May.
A cold snap is approaching the country at the end of this coming week – there may be a greater chance for frosts after this when the next calm high pressure system rolls in.
So, do you like frosty mornings?
