NEW POLL: Do you have a summer veggie garden?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

With summer ramping up, temperatures rising, and some late spring growth finally getting underway in many places, vegetable growers around the country will be checking the forecasts for signs of more rain or sun.

Here at WeatherWatch.co.nz we get plenty of correspondence from passionate vege growers – from both industrial and home scale.

We wanted to know how many kiwis are growing veggies – even just as a hobby – and how this year has been for them.

So let us know in this week’s poll if you’re a grower, and tell us where you’re from and how your 2015 crop is shaping up!

And it’s coming right but it’s not a classic year.

I think 2012 we picked tomatoes before Christmas.

We also have solar hot water and we still are little reliant on power – forst time in Dercember for 8 years so sunshine hours are down.
