Mostly fine for Fieldays

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s the news farmers have been hoping for – a mainly fine forecast for Fieldays.

The largest rural sector exhibition in Australasia, Fieldays 2010 kicks off this week June 16 to 19 June (Weds to Saturday).

With a huge high moving in from Australia conditions are going to be mostly sunny and settled.

WeatherWatch.co.nz says Wednesday is predicted to be sunny with early mist or fog patches on Thursday.  It will be cold in the mornings too, anywhere from -1 to +3.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday a few clouds may come in but at this stage the risk of a shower only increases to 10%.
