Morning cloud breaks – The Big Picture on Wednesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

On Wednesday we have a south to southwesterly airflow over New Zealand, meaning morning cloud for places and light winds – a fairly peaceful day all round!

Cloud cover to start breaks in the west of the North Island – turning into afternoon sun – while it’s cloudy in the east with the odd shower.

For the South Island, it’s looking sunny in the west with light southwesterly winds.
There’s the chance of an early shower for most eastern areas, but then cloud breaks to a few sunny areas in the afternoon – while southerly winds ease later in the day.
