On Friday, we still have a large high pressure system covering most of New Zealand, so it’s mainly settled and sunny for most regions.

It’ll be a bit chilly to start again, but nothing out of the ordinary for this time of year.
Winds are mainly light, generally from the westerly quarter in the west and easterly quarter in the east.

Northland, however sees southeasterly winds, with a few areas of cloud – while cloud clears from the south of the South Island.
